All of the above...

Nothing prettier than a pig in sh**.

i wish you had added "all the above" cuz its pretty much all those things, and the number one reason: it'll make a real comfy casket when i die.
Howdy! Da, yup. That one's got my vote!! John

:lol::lol::lol:

All the above should have been added but that is the easy way out:D:D I was just thinking of all the reason I like the 55.. and thought if I shared them along with other's reasons, people would read it and maybe keep their pig if they were thinking of selling or be reinspired by all the chatter about the piggies:beer:

Well, :pig: 's are a great platform to start up an expedition rig build with it's *almost all the way boxed frame & it's extra carrying capacity. The unique look & styling got me. Although I'm massaging the appearance & drivetrain *slightly for my needs, it's exactly what I was searching for. If I didn't have my :pig: I'd have an LV.

x?? on an "all of the above" statement! I love that most people dont even know what the hell it is, but then "Damn, its awsome though!". Plus @ 6'6" the back makes a perfect bed for me and a friend ;).

Agreed, they are a good platform to customize for expedition... maybe not the greatest rock surfer platform but surely good for a multi-purpose rig!
Howdy! With a wife, 3 kids, and a big dog, my family just didn't fit:crybaby: into my 40 any more. With extra recurved leafs to fit Q78-15's, it rode like a cement :mad:truck. Good excuse to :idea:start over on a 55. I figure fill your needs first, and then play with your wants later. My next want is a ToyBox. It does good on pavement and gravel, runs the desert at speed, and it's OK on the rocks. It ain't no RockBuggy :lol:though!! John

i saw one about 10 years ago driving down the road in the opp. direction i was, i had no idea what the hell it was, but knew i wanted one and figured they were to expensive. little did i know i was half right

a pig is like crack, the pipe (pig) isnt that expensive but the crack (discs, P/S, engine, rust repair ect.... ........) is what gets you:doh: and you always want more lol

:cheers:

I like mine cause most people don't know what the hell it is and they just stare as I go by. Plus the kids at the Dairy Queen drive through think it's really cool. :cheers:

best all round off road vehicle..........can carry wife, 4 kids and camping gear in comfort?:D + I can usually fix it...........except the sheet metal :frown:
