I bet he gets more laughs out of that, "Hey can you grab that tool out of the back of the truck for me?".

Those step bars came out of my own garage. :D I tested them by putting the highlift under them, and completely jacking up the side of the Cruiser. They were built to withstand any impact I could give them offroad. ;)

Vortec_cruiser,

Do you have any photos of the hardware or close ups of the frame? I'm interested in getting on of these tops, but I' haven't seen how it attaches really. This would be my first soft top. Any photos or tips on your installation process would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JJ

It looks like something the wife and kids could make outback in the barn.

Are you serious? ::) You should put them to work then!

Vortec, that top looks bad a$$! If I had a 40, I would for sure run that soft top until the very worst of winter months (then I'd just park the 40 in the garage of course...)

All this warm weather is throwin off the deer season, just doesn't feel right sitting in the stand with shorts and a t-shirt on. ??? :-\

Nice and warm back there, huh? I'll bet you've got the humidity to match. ::) Aah, I love this So. California weather. :D Needless to say, I'll be keepin' the softtop on year-round. Most of my wheelin' is in the winter, since it gets a bit toasty in the desert areas during the summer. 8)

Good try, but no, the South is just plain better. No humidity this time of year either. :slap:   :D :flipoff2:

Skiing's damn lousy in Georgia any time of year.

Actually.... We have the southernmost ski resort in the US here in wonderful GA. (You actually drive into and back out of N.C. to get there). Sky Valley. 3 of my extended family members have houses up there, I've actually been skiing there too.
Lousy is relative.... :flipoff2: :D :flipoff2:
