Rig looks great dude, glad it all came together.

Starbucks in the morning is hard to beat, definately puts everyone in the right mood.

Come back this way any time, you were a cool cat to hang with.

Ty,

Did you ever regear for these tires?

Nope, not this trip .. and thankfully I don't live at 6000 feet! I'm at one tenth that elevation, so the Truspeed I have wired up combined with the power button always engaged, and the OD off on hill ascents I am just fine. One day I may regear .. round here though I have plenty of pickup and go.

Did the guys at Slee mention how much weight can be added to the front or rear without adding the dc front shaft? Looks good not sure about the rear once it has a load,

. That ramp pic he posted looks like about 500 RTI, which is horrible for a rig with that much potential suspension travel. Nay

Where's the ramp pic?

What I can say is this : I am running the following:

-
- Drop blocks; 2" front, 3" rear
-
- Sway bar drops

- The usual other bits and pcs
-

I'm assming the first set of brop blocks are the bump stop spacers?

You running L's? If so, how much before the shock bottoms do you hit the spacers?

Correct bump stops in the fr, and custom boxed 3x2 in the rear.

Not sure on the second part, perhaps Slee could help us here...

Really lite flex pic from today. I was at a lookout spot, and decided to climb the small wall they have between the parking lot, and the 100' drop 5' beyond the wall. The first bit was a breeze of course, but without airing down I wasn't able to press over the higher portion of the wall. 90 degrees and 16" high, and I just kept bouncing off of it. The wall was only 14" wide, so I didn't want to bounce to my right and end up straddling the stupid thing, so I backed of after a few attempts.

You can see the rear is hardly tucked yet ..

Great work Ty and Christo.

Ty - looks like the drive was worth it - she sits very, very nice! Nice bribe too! Looks like it worked. hehehe

Nice looking rig. you went to the right place. I wonder if the arb front bumper would have to be trimed with the 4" and wheel spacers?

I'am really just glad to see that you got some protection of the nice rig. Now get a front bumper before you hit a moose or something.

Ty,

Was Christo's waiting area clean & nice? Did they have nice seats for you to seat?
Did they perform the work in the estimated time?

How about the kitchen area?

Nice rig.

Regards

Alvaro

I'm not sure if you're serious or not :flipoff2: Funny questions .. Yes of course it was clean! The waxed floor reflected more light than my mellon .. and there are ample red leather sofas .. I sat in there surfing on the wireless network for his customers. When you go into the kitchen area check out the cool coffee maker.

Slee orchestrated an exceptional build .. and was accomadating in every way.

Hey SteveO...you takin' notes here?

I'm not sure the SOF 4" coils will be phased much by a front bumper. Certainly not like J's.

I think he was wondering if the 36's would rub on the ARB bumper, as they did the stock bumper , before Slee trimmed it.

FUnny .. you're right! I was thinking trimming the ride, and not the bumper!

Not sure about the arb, but I plan to send my cut pcs from my bumper corners to Christo when he designs the new front bumper so he can mod mine to work without rubbing like my current setup. ;)

You always have choices .. the 4" coils worked with the Slee caster plates, but rubbed in the fr mud flaps pretty bad. If I had left that setup, the flaps would have needed removal or serious trimming. By going to the Slee fr arms, I avoided any fr mud flap trimming, but had to trim the fr bumper corners - the lesser of the two evils.

To be honest I'm not competely sure if the ARB or Slee (et al) bumpers tend to follow the lines of the flares exactly or define a different line of their own.

Anyone know??

I probably will at some point, but I was thinking about this yesterday as I tooled around town. This thing still motors pretty dam quick off the line! Must be that I'm just above sea level .. that and the Truspeed, and power button always on. Here I can rocket away from an intersection if need be, but in Co my power really sucked .. 6000' extra makes a huge difference.

So the Slee Arms are longer than stock? I was curious ablout that, but didn't see where it said on his site.
