pickup with rear seats

Has anyone here ever installed a rear seat row into a pickup bed on an early pickup?

Depends on the seat I would think. I'm parting out that 4Runner right now but it's got hinged rear seats. The mounting surface for the front is vertical.

The only DOT appoved rear seat, outside of the passenger compartment, were the Subaru BRAT seats from the '80s. Hard plastic and now difficult to locate.

Of course they wouldn't be DOT approved except in a Subaru BRAT from the '80s.

I use to have a 71 chevy custom 10 pickup. I put buckets up front and place the factory bench in the bed up against the cab. police told e as long as everyone was seated i wasnt breaking the law and they had to be as far forward in the bed as possible. Nothing like going swiming with ten friends in a standard cab pickup truck
sry had to edit it. my dam keyboard has broken keys lol
