It's awesome. 3S Velineon brushless has gobs of power. I'm 500ft from the beach so I figured what the hell, it's waterproof and sealed, why not give it a shakedown on the beach. I had so much fun I with I had unlimited batteries. I blew my budget today for sure! Only think I didn't like about it... all those decals. I removed all of them and started fresh.

The aftermath of 40 minutes in wet/dry sand and a nice sprinkle while being the only person in site on the beach. Total blast.

And stock vs de-stickered. I plan on a few custom ones and possibly a baby ih8mud sticker on the side. Who knows.

Those things are pretty cool, several guys I know run them around. I just can't nut $400 for that. Here's one of them that the guy repainted.

That paint job is awesome. I plan on re-doing mine. But I blew my budget on this one for sure. Have you ever driven one around?

I have, both a 2wd and 4x4. The 2wd with a brushless motor freakin' MOVES. Much cheaper hobby than breaking a real truck tho.

2wd is a blast on the street and hard packed dirt. But sand and loose dirt is where the 4x4 shines. I'm sitting on the airplane now (2pm flight leaving at 6....), I was trying to get to hobbytown and pick up some Lipo's but that won't work. I think I saw a Ford Raptor body, may pick that up and do some cool color. Who knows.

Picked up 3S and a new charger. Sold my brushless system from my SCX, geared to 18/54 and I am just way to happy with it.

I found my old set of crawler tires and stuffed a bunch of foam in them to help stiffen them up. Wow, what a difference. The stock Slash tires ( little cute KM-2's were very hard) and I couldn't keep the back end under control leaving turns. These tires just hook up and go. It's a bit wet out so I'm antsy to see what they do in the dry. Still playing with toe and caster getting the handing just right. Gets a little wiggly leaving the corners. Going to a indoor track this weekend and seeing what she does.

The tires are a bit smaller and make the launch a touch quicker. They are a lot narrower which I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing but they feel pretty good. One thing I don't like about the stock slash rims is the back side. They is no Sidewall so on loose rocks it goes straight into the suspension and no Sidewall dampening.

Awesome! I have a 4x4 as well. They're a blast. I'm building my own shortcourse to race it on. Make sure you tend to your bearings and get some paddle tires for the beach.

That's makin' me want to get mine out. I have a slash on lipo's as well as two Revo's - one 3.3 and one nitro converted to brushless. The brushless revo on 6s in absolutely insane!

Are those wheels with the crawler tires the RPM wides? I bought split six beadlocks and trenchers for my 4x4. It rips! Check out my video in the other thread to see my small start of a track.

I'm getting an AX10 clone and will be buying the 2.2 Chisels or flatirons with the wide rims so I can swap them onto my slash as well.

These are the rims ( make sure they are the 12mm hex for slash):

Stamped Steel 1.55 Stock Black Beadlock Wheel

They are very durable and great quality. They fit very nicely on the Slash, my front wheels are weighted so it keeps the front end planted a little better on take off over the stock rims. I love the KM-2's in the mud and grass, but the compound is just way to hard.

I have mounted these :

RC4WD Mud Slingers 1.55 Offroad Tires

compound is super soft and the side wall is a little weak, I had a "flat" the other day. Took the tire off and put some RTV sealant on the inside and so far so good. I don't think they are supposed to go 50mph but they will. They ballon a little but nothing extreme.

I will be mounting my Flat Iron (KM-2's) 1.9's sometime in the next week. They are wider and slightly taller but they are extremely soft and floaty. Also on stock black Axial rims.

Speed runs today verified 78mph. I need to cut a hole in the body to prevent "parachuting". I had a little more throttle left but the wind caught it and she went up and over

3S lipo with 21/54 gearing. Only thing aftermarket is a $3.50 gear.

Those are cool. I use to run some Nitro trucks several years ago but got tired of working on them. As of last month I bought a MiniT Stadium truck for me and my 5 year old boy to play with. Well, I never get to play with it since my boy is obsessed and rather good at it. So..... I went out and bought the Micro T. it is a cool little truck.
Here shortly I want to get the mini Revo.

OK, that's it i'm getting one!! :eek::grinpimp:

Is that brushless? Running 3S lipo?!! Wow!! I am about to toss a 4S lipo in my losi crawler for the fun of it... i can only imagine what that thing would do with a 4S in it. :censor:

Stock brushless system with 21/54 gearing on 3S Lipo.

It's a fawking monster. I get about 10min's out of a battery and that is about as long as I can stand outside in the heat and bake. I hit a little lip on a pot hole and sent it sailing. Full throttle at around 50mph she went into a spin and rolled. It took a nasty toll on the body and scraped up the rims pretty good (folded sidewall over and tool paint off rim) but other than that she is fine. I want to pick up another body but my driving style screams no.

Let me know if you want some more videos. I can't wait to get it on some sand in a few weeks.
