What A/C parts are you looking for? I don't have an entire system but I do have interior parts like ducts and the box. The vents are typically brittle and shot. The stuff in the dash doesn't get sun baked though.

My truck came without AC... I need literally everything from the button on the dash to the brackets under the hood.

I would think 84-88 would all fit but I'm not sure. Once I get my current build parts selected, I'll have parts to offer. The 86 spare cab I bought is stored at a friends place and it's mainly my replacement sheet metal if I roll.

I'm considering going to a more modern condenser so if you want OEM I have the one I was using on my 88 up until I started my current build. My original system converted to R134A cooled very well even here in AZ.

I think an entire donor system is the best way to go but if you need pieces let me know. I'm a straight shooter and would provide good pics or videos for anything you were interested in. Shoot me a PM anytime.

Once you wrap up that conversion, let's talk. If it's cold enough for Arizona... ;)

What's the good word on the "newer" condenser? It was suggested we do that to the project I'm working on, but know nothing about it.

My 1988 OEM condenser when I converted to R134 and even when I put in the 3.4 and that's here in AZ.

On my current build I have to make new lines, hoses and possibly some radiator support mods so I thought I would just put in a new universal one.

I’ve been saving these posts for when I get around to it. Apparently there are evaporator mods and parallel flow condensers that help.

I’ve never had AC working in any of my 22re powered stuff though. It’s on my semi near term list now though.

So why the evap swap? Is the Corolla better? Do you have the part number?

I have just been buying Denso replacement evaporators and a new expansion valve. Mainly because the old ones are a block of dirt since there is no A/C filter.

Sorry for the hijack Manhattan
