Hi Guys!!
well...I am officially crazy...I just added another project to my list after spending the last 2 years getting my 72 FJ40 somewhat solid and usable....
I previously had an 85 FJ60 for 10 years (loved it) and got rid of it because of smog BS in CA....so out of the blue I stumble upon this 1970 FJ55 and it starts pulling at my heart strings...."please get me out of the elements and save me" it says...oh boy...here we go.
She's not currently running (bad carb I think) missing the front drive shaft and of coarse the back window assembly is disassembled and lay in pieces... won't know the rest till i pick her up in Santa Cruz next weekend
Won't be a full resto... but I can at least clean up some of the rust to keep it at bay and provide a garage for her to sleep in while I fix her up
and so it begins...get ready for some more newbie questions on how to fix all this s@#t
Cheers!!
Benjamin
