MAD40er - thanks for tracking this stuff down, ya dun good (even if stuff wasn't useable). I'm sure it was hard work :p And you scored on that wheel, I can't believe it survived in that condition, wonder if it's a replacement as well.

Hmmm, my tranny hump is hacked to h*ll from PO floor shift mod. Maybe I could overlay my cutouts on that one that looks in good shape for cleaner install. Unless someone wants/needs one to be kept pristine.

Did you pick up the fuel pump for me? Does it have a generator? I believe by 65 the generators were gone. The rearview mirror in the 65 is different from the 64 and earlier. The one in the picture is not the original mirror. The carb is also non-stock. Rodchester maybe. Hardest part of the tail lights is missing, the cover on the back. I see in your picture of the small parts you picked up the two special bolts for the tailgate chains. Did it have the chains? PTO could be gone, I see the cable is cut just after going thru the firewall. Congrats on the steering wheel.

The chains are in my garage, along with the the drop down tailgate and hinges/latches :p

I didn't catch you wanting the fuel pump. You might need to school me on where exactly it is located if you really want it?

I guess I could go back and get it, and I see a few others might want some small parts too.

definitely get the fuel pump and the voltage reg.

The mirror is not original. I have a 63, so you are looking for the same one that I have. And no, you can't have it:D

Turn signals are scrap. Get em from toyota or a mud vendor. FD handle and lever is definitely worth retrieving.

The windshield frame is solid for sure. I don't think I could flat rate post it though! ;)

Seats and seat frames are rusted to hell. they literally fell into two parts when I tried to get to the gas tank.

Anytime man. It will only be my third time to pilfer some parts!

I would like the fuel pump. I hadn't seen before your latest pictures. So you didn't miss anything. The reason I asked about the chains is the two special bolts looked to be in your last group of parts. You probably got those with the tailgate rightr the first trip?

Other parts worth getting. The windshield latches. Bring a big phillips that you can put a wrench on. Maybe impact driver you use a hammer. The handle over the glove box is worth taking. The vent in the windshield is a nice upgrade for someone with a earlier cruiser that easier to replace than earlier one that welded together. You need small wrenches and sockets. You have to get center bracket loose than drives it open. Then use a 7MM socket to loosen the eight nuts across the top. Back then up just enough to be flush with studs. Then drive them forward. then once that happens remove the nuts (keep nuts & washers) and use something to pry the vent off the front. Take it home that way. The piece above the vent itself is the same the vent. The eight studs that hold the vent together is the one you really want to be careful with.

Fuel pump is easy to remove. Use a backup wrench and loosen the two fuel lines. Two bolts on the block and your done. The fuel filter bowl and fuel lines are worth getting.

I went yesterday and picked that up for ya! And, maybe we can discuss the steering wheel too. I am still undecided on that!

I could use the windshield assy and the seat brackets or the entire front seat assy's.

D'Animal, I got you the driver seat frame and brackets as they were solid. You interested?

I got you your fuel pump. I might keep the glass bowl fuel filter though... ;)

But that is it, I think I am done. I want to take the whole thing, but my wife would never understand, and I dont have the space for it. Someone really should go and take the front bib, aprons, remains of dash and strip the mechanicals (Engine, tranny, xfer plus all peripherals.) If it is there in two weeks after my next pay check, I might be tempted! Oh, and someone get the windshield frame! Hook D'Animal up!

The handbrake handle is aluminum I think, I have only seen plastic ones before?

I polished it up, and it came out nice!

Someone should get the bib. It's in great shape.
