Pic request: Durabak'd Red 80

Hello all, I am really trying to decide if I am going to durabak the 80. If I do it I will be doing the flares and lower section of the body following the fender line on a red 80 with blacked out wheels. Does anyone have a picture like this or of one with the matching red durabaking on it? that might be pretty cool as well. I have searched a ton but cant find the pic that im looking for. Thanks everyone.

Not an 80, but there's a red LineX'd FJC around I kept seeing when I was researching to do mine - search the fj cruiser forums. Line the whole thing!

thats pretty amazing. I wanted to see how well the brick red matched our 80's red color. they have a few shades of red, and that looks like the lighter one. Pretty cool though

They will send you samples for free - I think the brick red is...well...brick and I think it would be somewhat odd as a "two-tone" color.

But get the samples and see what you think.

The only concern I would have with Red that if it fads to pink. Ask any vendor on how to prevent that.

This is the first thing that I thought, only the 'pink' look will come a lot faster, as liners tend to pick up lighter-colored particles with an oxidized appearance; giving black, for example, a gray appearance. With red, well, it will look pink, unless washed frequently.

Profro on here has a Maroon 80 with black/grey Durabak on the fenders. Looks sharp. I'll ask him to post a pic.

They do . If your Avocado Durabak is going to look like Guacamole with the Sour Cream as your original white color when you open the doors, you'd better fawking have some big meats on it
