I like: Using the righteous Downey adapter.
I like: I couldn't offer that kit that complete for that price.
I'm curious: Did they program out the Knock Sensor?
I'm curious: Do you need the dented side pan due to dizzy diameter?
I don't like: They evidently programmed out the VSS system?
BTW: All ECU's are used or rebuilt, even when asking for a new ECU directly from Chevy/GM.

Over the years I have done several GM based EFI swaps into 30's & 40's cars. The first 2 that I done the chip makers insisted that VSS was not required. Both of them had idle and driveability issues. Sometimes the idle speed would not go below 2500rpm. After that I always installed VSS. Never had the high idle speed after that. The only things that I wanted to delete was emission's and VATS.

I am looking into doing a TBI swap on my 72. I would like to convert the GM small disturber to fit into the F.5 I am using. Will use knock sensor also.

Rusty 72, I quit making full TBI conversion kits after I closed Downey Off Road Mfg., but I still make the adapters and air cleaners. I also have a couple partial kits in my ebay store right now, last two photos above.
