Seats look great! I have been slow to keep up on MUD the last few months but trying to catch up. My drivers seat probably has some springs that need attention as well. Nice work

It was an easy project but a little $ for what it is. That’s SOR for ya. I have springs if you need them!

Weather finally cooled enough to get a few small projects done. This one was on the list to keep from having my legs roasted by heat from the engine, I was sort of surprised this is still available new, but it's a nice one to finish. Easy peasy.

And as you can see below, it was time to install the custom bump stop extensions that Mark A @65swb45 fabbed up for me about a month ago. This will keep the new tires from getting creative with the rear sheet metal

I've also noticed that the spare tire bracket has a crack in it, so that may either need to get fixed with the metal glue gun or just replaced, if there's a good one out there.

Got hot again for like a month, then cooled down somewhat today.. and it's been stupid busy over the last few weeks. I haven't done much to the rig, but I have been slowly picking up trail spares and starting to put them in a pile on one of the workbenches - a spare distributor, cap, condenser, and coil that I had on the bench; few feet of heater hose, fuel hose and a bunch of clamps; some nuts and bolts; tools in the go-bag.

Came to a head today with pulling the trailer hitch off the back frame rail and looking for a pintle hook to mount in its place as a rear recovery point, along with an ARB recovery / snatch strap, some soft shackles, tire repair kit, and a bottle jack adapter from Land Cruiser Products @LandCruiserPhil. I will probably also get a Hi Lift jack at some point, but at least this will get me started.

I was also able to get a piece of 1/4" x 3 x 5" steel from the local steel shop for free as a reinforcement for the pintle hook. Had one of the techs do a shear cut on a piece of 1/4" x 3" remnant and then just gave it to me. Made my day! Hopefully the pintle hook mounts to the back of the truck.

Also getting a short but full-size shovel tomorrow, and have a bunch of smalls to collect as I go. I also found that my fan belt was just a tad loose, so tightened that up. Drove it to work yesterday without incident

Makin' trail spares from the spare nuts and bolts bucket. Steel plate from the local shop here as well. This is strangely ASMR and soothing....

Looking for grade 8 bolts for my doors, from @65swb45 That rear interior handle is in here too, got tired of clocking my head on it, lol. It does work, though!
