mine was awesome.... no curry.
you could do without the curry, but i thought it added just a bit of flavor. Like i said, the curry was no over powering at all, it dissipated like the garlic...
the key is to keep it in the oven until the skin is nice and crispy. Also, make sure you salt the skin with a nice coat of kosher salt.....
so you've put it down to 300 degrees? it starts smelling really damn good around 4 hours...
Being that it is with livestock I can see how you would relate.

Maybe it was the junk ass cell phone pics but, they all looked like crime scene photos. Really creepy . Like you are trying to figure out what part of the body it is kinda creepy.
