Parking brake boot picture needed

I am in need of a picture of how the parking brake boot is installed. Trying to install a new boot but doesn’t look right?

I pulled mine with the rest of the interior recently and I really didn't pay that much attention to it before I took it out. I will say though I'm not sure how else you would install it. Might look more correct if it was gray and not black. It's more or less hidden with the seats installed anyway.
