Can you do some real C+ quality body work and stitch weld some sheet metal over the cavities I created when using mr. Sawzall for my fenders? I don't have an English wheel or whatever it takes to roundify things
I would have to increase my abilities from D- to C+, and that might be a stretch. My tools are limited when it involves bending metal, and so is my experience. As for the tools needed, I only have a set of 1950’s tin snips and an old welder that was passed down from my grandpa that constantly blows the breaker.

Bit of an unusual question, is it possible for you to spray a poly industrial paint from Imron or Endura? I want to respray in the same color because my 100s paint is getting thin, but it would be nice to have something that is pinstripe resistant.

Also, just because they are awesome, here are links for other people to check out the current threads Kelly Saad has going on painting projects right now:

Very very cool.
Thanks for posting those threads, I was thinking about doing that, so thanks.

You can use the industrial paint, yes, however I wouldn’t consider it scratch proof obviously. Also, it’s not that easy to wet sand and polish, at least back in the 90’s it wasn’t. Much has changed, so I’m sure it’s different now.

Kelly, If I was to ship you the side moldings off my 2005 hundred series could you paint them as good as new? 5 pieces per side.

I could do that. When I did mine, I threw out all the plastic clips and attached them with 3m double sided tape. Although you must use a plastic adhesion promoter or the tape will not stick to the plastic.

@kelly saad Do you have an estimate on price? They are not in too bad of shape but factory paint has started to peel. Probably require minimal sanding. I'd want them kind of a similar color to the powder coated black and the aftermarket bumpers and sliders use. That would tie the front and rear bumoper colors together. I'm well aware of that adhesion promoter. Gotta use that stuff for sure.
