i made a p/s pump bracket for my 74 fj40. it has the orignal f engine with the early style air cleaner. i was able to replace the alternator bracket with a fj60 smog pump bracket and then build mine off of it.

i use a 70 chevy truck p/s pump and i got my double pulley from lmc truck. on these you dont need a puller to remove them. the belts line up with the front pulley grove. the alternator is on the passanger side like a '75 and newer. this seems to work very well and has great support for the pump. this as far as i know doesnt interfere with the oringnal parts, and every thing bolts on. havent tested the fan shroud yet ill keep posted. I really was seeing if anybody made one like this?
