Hi Ramathorn15. When do you expect to have these back in stock again? I have it in one of mine and love it, but now need to get the other LC outfitted. Thanks!

I used two of these.@Lonegrasshopper Great setup. Which double ball did you go with for the mount itself? Love mine and have been eyeing a dual setup like yours.
Here is my setup. I have a Galaxy Tab A 10.1 GPS, with Torque Pro and Gaia installed. The holder for the Tab A is the Ram 8", and it fits perfect. It looks like it overhangs the passenger seat, it does not. I also installed a wireless charger for my phone.
Overall, great product, @Ramathorn15, and I highly recommend!View attachment 2500174

Love it!
It's two of the balls I recommend in the product description just stacked. You'll need a longer 3/8-18 bolt to fit both but that can be easily had at any hardware store. The bolt that comes with the mount is 3/4 so something like 1" would likely work.
Soon! I actually have 40 waiting to be formed so they can go to powder. I'm in the process of getting a much better bender, so the current one is out of commission while I wait for the new to arrive. It was bad planning on my part, but I didn't expect the last 6 I had to sell so quickly. As soon as the new bender is set up, the media mounts will be the first to get bent then sent to powder. Probably like 3 weeks depending on how backed up my powder guy is.
I used the one you supplied. It was supposed to be temporary, but It's been holding for 4 months now with no thread movement. I meant to go grab a longer bolt because I was initially concerned, but now not so much. You'll need a longer 3/8-18 bolt to fit both but that can be easily had at any hardware store. I'm not totally sure. I have the dimensions on the website in the description. Best bet is to measure your grill and compare.Woohoo! just saw that media mounts are back in stock. Off topic, but does the snorkel grill fit Ironman or ARB/Safari snorkels?
Are the tape deck mounts available? Website shows sold out.
Not sure about the ball mount question, I used 2 size b. But I would't use any sort of flexible arm. There's a lot of leverage going on with an extended arm and a tablet/phone. Considering going to a shorter arm for my ipad mini for this reason (no fault of the owl mount).HI all.
I just ordered a tape deck mount. Trying to figure out options and I don't see my 2 questions answered on this thread so hopefully someone can help.
I'd like to add 2 Ram balls, 1 size b for my iphone attachment - and 1 size c for a tablet mount. Is it possible to use a size c ball attached directly over the provided owl mount hole with the recommended size b 9mm angled bolt head stacked below the size c ball (using the bolt on the size C ball to secure both balls onto the Owl mount)?
Also, has anyone use a Ram flex rod off the owl mount for an iphone attachment? this would allow a lot of versatility in positioning but perhaps it would move too much when driving off road?
This is a great thread. Does anyone have a media mount suggestion for a plain old 1999 pre-nav Nakamichi vehicle?
@suprarx7nut has one on his site for older 100 series. I like the concept a lot..

Couple Questions for Rami...
1) when the tape mecha is removed, is it possible to put it back in (functioning)... just in case?
(granted i may never need to... just hypothetically speaking)
2) Off topic, when will the Owl Accessory Tray for 100 series (the one that sits behing the main batt) be available again?
Thanks!
Just following up after finally getting everything installed. I ended up doing 2 size b mounts - 1 for ipad and 1 for iphone, as in the photo from pili's post above. It would be nice to have a little more weight capacity for the ipad, but the 1 inch size b worked pretty well - only slight movement for the ipad. I could only find one option that might allow use of the size c mounts - a Ram 3 ball triple adapter. You would have to cut one of the balls off to fit the Owl Expedition media mount. Even then not sure whether it would fit, thus I went with the 2 size b/1" mounts.Roger that on the flex arm - I figured as much.
For the ball mounts, Ram suggests size C (1.5 inch) for tablets and I think estimate 4 pounds for off road use with a size C, vs 2 pounds with size B, thus was hoping to try the larger size C. Looking at your set up I expect there is not enough space for a mount to go straight up.
If anyone has the measurement from the face of the stereo to the middle of Owl mount hole for one of the current versions of the mount, that might help answer whether my idea is doable.
I'll be sure to post if I do try my preferred approach...
