Yep. Second weakend is more of a tournament, and less of a party.

Yeah, those rubber balls are EXTREMELY hard in the mornings..... BLUTO NOT a foam ball! 100% Rubber and no gloves allowed for the Men.

OTL is huge in SD. They used to have a tournament on the beach in Imperial Beach every summer when we were there. Fun to watch and very competitive - both guys and gals.

For those SD folks - yes I know Imperial Beach is a scuzzy little beach town, but the family had a beach cottage right on the beach about a quarter mile south if the IB pier. Place was built in 1928, so it was nothing fancy, but it WAS ON THE BEACH. Couldn't beat the price - free!

It's a big deal every summer in SD (now held on Fiesta Island as apposed to IB when Brent went).
