Patrick : I think i am going to take my doors off today because these doors are clean .

Me : Nah you should be fine i do not think we will get into anything to crazy today

Well that day escalated to a level i did not expect :steer:
After the first day of wheeling I didn't think it would matter either. Jack Hammer decided otherwise... It's not a show car

I have to say . You have Come A Long way in a short time . A few years ago you were ready to throw in the towel on the Rubicon. And now you are running Buggy lines in a full body. Not only that but look at the caliber of Rigs that are doing those trails . And they were breaking and winching Go watch you tube of the big guns running those exact trails 🤔. And you drove it 900 miles there and back home again . You went way past your comfort level but now know that you can do it 💪. You came home and hit the ground running Not because you had to. But because you have now experienced an entire new level . I fully look forward to 2026 .

Maybe I should add the new stuff 🤷‍♂️. Will
That let you sleep better 🤔.

No sleep, 1 kid moving to TN, New grandbaby I have to haul ass to go see, work, & keep an eye on Mud, it's alot. Your HOA allow that many non op vehicles ?? Good morning sunshine ;)
I have rv parking on the side. But it has 40s instead. And my garage can fit 3 cars. Then I have the 2 in my driveway. (Tundra/ Tacoma ) I have a nice car also but it’s kept elsewhere.

Ps when are we going to see pics of your linked 40 . It’s been years now and nothing but hopes and dreams. Let me guess you are still working out the geometry with the link calculator 🤦🏻‍♂️

Nope, just working, wife frowns on cruiser time while there are other duties to attend to and I am not able to spend at will. Hopes & dreams are what life is built on, I'm gettin there, is there a deadline I am not aware of ? Don't you have a house to build, leave me alone.

I say bring your parts and we will link it in camp this year

I showed up to wheel, comfortable or not. It's only getting better

Today was a good chunk of progress. Got the Dana 60 stripped down. Then cleaned everything up, cut off all the brackets and leaf spring pads and trimmed the area of the housing I’ll need available to make the cuts to convert it to a passenger drop

Couldn't find a pass drop kingpin d60? Curious why you'd choose to retube a ball joint version, just to make it pass drop. I'd think changing to a driver drop case would be preferred.

Passenger drop anything is hard to find up here for less that 1500. The price on this was very good and I can just change it and do ball joint delete. None of this is hard thankfully, and now I have hi pinion

Hi pinion is nice, I hear you. Had the same difficulty finding a pass drop d60 as well, ended up buying a whole truck to part out to get one.

Upgrading the inner c's or moving to a thicker tube or anything?

Don't know why I didn't respond to this. So the C's will stay the same, but I'm going to stitch my truss into them a little bit if I can. The tubing on this thing is beefy, almost 3/8" thick, so I won't change that. Just make everything inside as strong as I reasonably can with my budget
