I am selling my 2004 Lexus GX470 in Ontario, Canada.
Originally dealer-owned through Heffner Lexus, then privately owned in the Kitchener-Guelph area. I have owned the truck since 2019 and am the third private owner overall. It was purchased in stock configuration and incrementally prepared for mild overlanding. This truck was not used for hard-core off-roading or rock crawling. The build was done with reliability, on- and off-road versatility, and practical recreational utility in mind. It was used primarily as a daily driver with occasional camping / overland trips.
The goal of this build was to expand the strengths of the dependable GX platform without turning it into a heavily compromised trail rig. The modifications were chosen to improve ground clearance, range, and gear-carrying / towing utility for long-distance driving, camping, occasional trails, deep snow, and general non-extreme outdoor use, while maintaining decent highway performance and road manners.

Suspension / tires:
- 3” Dobinsons suspension lift with coils, adjustable shocks, and upper control arms
- Tires are only slightly oversized (265/70R17), chosen intentionally to provide modest clearance gains while avoiding unnecessary wear on drivetrain components
- Front tires have approximately 60% tread remaining
- Rear tires will need replacement to certify
Protection / utility:
- ARB skid plate protecting engine and transmission
- Rear spare mounted on aftermarket rear door bracket
- 2” trailer hitch
Fuel system:
- Ontario-certified dual-fuel 4th generation LPG (auto propane) conversion
- Adds approximately 250–300 km of additional range
- Provides fuel-cost savings for city / mixed driving
- Automatic or manual on-the-go switching between LPG and gasoline
- Current certification sticker is on the door frame; LPG recertification is due this year
Interior:
- Interior currently configured for three persons and modular cargo / gear storage
- Original 5- or 7-seat configuration can be restored if desired
