A fer years back i took a trip through the Baja Peninsula. I more or less tried to go down the west coast and back up the west coast. We encountered a tropical storm that split our group for a few days, but all ended well. Pics to follow.

I bet there are some good stories behind those pictures....catch any fish?

I caught a couple fish here and there. Frankly, we typically arrived at camp near sunset, so fishing was usually done at lunch when we could stop at the beach and chill out for a while.

It's taking them awhile to get that last stretch done from just south of Gonzaga to MX1. A lot of earth moving clearly but it's been in that stage for a good number of years now it seems.

Its on schedule to be completed by the end of the year. A few non connecting section are done but blocked to keep you off. Almost all has graded enough for full size semi's to use it. Because the now used graded dirt road, soon to be paved road now bypasses Coco Corner he is doomed.

I have it on good authority that Mexico will not have money to complete this project due to some massive wall the are supposedly going to have to pay for.

It’s amazing to me that coco is still kicking, that dude has overcome a lot of adversity.
