My plan when I first bought the 55 was to put a 4 speed fix the lights and that was it ,but I was concerned about traveling on the highway, and living in the DC area you have to travel at least 2 plus hours to get away, so the V8 was the way to go.
It's a sight to see this old pig pull away from traffic at 70MPH, and the looks you get when they catch up .
BTW it will go faster, but it was a bit windy and I'd need a bigger set of ba#*s to consider it.

LOL lou,,, ive had mine up to about 82MPH and i just didnt like it. the thought of a 37" tire going at that speed,,,,, so i cruise around 65 and am happy to get a solid 25mpg.
