any concern about it getting too hot for the Redarc under the hood?
In the mounting instructions it stated that for that unit underhood was ok. I have it as far forward as possible. Its right behind the passenger side headlight.

Got a package in today!! They are bare metal, I'm going to get them painted the same color as the GX.

Cut, crimped and soldered cables. What a time consuming process. I have more time is this second battery install and running wiring to the cargo area than I do in all of my suspension and other mechanical work.

First real getting day some trail use. Very muddy but I needed to get back to an area with saws and did not feel like walking them back. The Ridge Grapplers work really well in the mud. The GX went in and out with no problems. Plenty of ground clearance and tracked really good thru the mud.

First packing for a kayak/camping weekend next week. So much more room than I have ever had before with so much left. I have a trailer and most of the gear usually goes in there. That’s most of my gear for a long weekend trip. Amazing how much you can pack in these!

Wow that is close to my setup. I'm really happy with the Redarc. Sometimes when you plan a project it does not turn out exactly how you want it or work like you wanted it to but this one is turning out really well.

Got my sliders back from the painter. Started not to install them because I’m leaving tomorrow to go on my first trip in the GX. I was pressed for time and doing the driver side is kind of a challenge but I went ahead and started and got them done in about hour 1/2. I went for a different look and painted them the same color as the exterior. They for sure really blend in. The are White Knuckle Off Road with full covers.

The best upside is putting my kayak on the roof will be much easier. I’m going white water kayaking this weekend too!!
