I can't leave positive itrader feedback , since this was all done via PM's but just wanted to give a thumbs up to Impreza, on a great buying experience. Great seller, and quick shipping and great communications before and after the sale :) thanks again !

Also a big thumbs up again to Ken349 for letting me pick some parts of his parting out 80. Its great to know there is a trusting community out there still. Glad to be a part of this one ! thanks guys !

I've got a set of 4 brand new 235/45R17 Dunlop SP Sport 01 tires I need to unload. They have 7 miles on them. New price for 4 from tire rack with no shipping is $944. I need to get $600 or they'll go on my WRX.

I have a few parts form my 1970 FJ40
This slave cylinder is only a few months old with very little use $30

This is a new OEM replacement alternator with voltage regulator, it was installed in my 40 for about in hour. I ended up going with a Chevy 1 wire alt that worked better for my set up
$70

I'm in for the tranny/t-case/adapter combo. Can pick it up this week.

This has been going on since the early 90's

That statement just made me feel old...

Dude, you are old
I would say since the early 60's, like you:p

But it does beg the question
Who put the first V8 in an FJ40, and when?

I know the v8 swap has been done for decades, I believe advanced adapters started making there V8 swap kit in the early 70's.
I meant, the v8 swap seems to be becoming popular again, where not long ago the die hard cruiser guys where frowning on it.

It also seems like from what I'm seeing and hearing recently the FJ40 is starting to become very popular and sought after again. Probably because of the economy, you can pick up descent ones for a fraction of the price you paid 5-10 years ago.

Oh and I graduated high school in 94, so I guess a lot of this is way before my time too ;p
