It was a long time ago and I probably shouldn't of brought it up. Don't think the effected parties are even in the club anymore.

QUESTION. Is a '78 LandCruiser smog exempt elsewhere in New England and NY besides NH? Can I sell it in any of those states with just a Bill of Sale?
 
It's smog exempt here in MA due to it's age. Just needs a safety test.... ;)



And I like the color tan if I haven't mentioned that recently.....

Pretty sure Maine is the same way, i registered my 78 Cj7 as an antique, and never did any smog testing, or inspections at all. registered with just a bill of sale.

This was years ago Larry. Maybe 10 years or so.

any state has to accept a registration/bos only from old NH vehicles;NH vehicles older than 15 get no title from the state, therefore the reg is the legal document....never had a problem
you can sell with only bos, but buyer needs to then get it back in the system, the reg, expired or not is the easy way...
 
in CT if the vehicle is 20 years or older you dont need emission test. if its 25 years or older you will be eligible for antique plates and no title only BOS is needed for registration. and if you buy a out of state vehicle you just need a vin check by DMV, no safety inspection in CT.

I'm not sure the other unrelated comments deserve a reply ..... (You would think people would be nicer to one another this close to Christmas.)
 
Had some real good fun the other day. Put my door into the banking on this one. The lack of snow keeps the wheeling opportunities coming here in Central NH.
