2003, why?

Our plans have changed. I'm now officially not shopping (but still keeping an eye out). Thinking an early/cheap land cruiser that is worth what I pay for it would make a good "figure out just what kind of wheeling I'd actually do and how often" get-my-feet-wet rig.

Ideal would be something that could stand a chance of going 6 months and 3k road miles without needing expensive long-term repairs or catch up on deferred maintenance. I'm looking at a 91 with significant but not yet near terminal rust, for example.

If I happened on a rust free example that was well cared for, that'd change things, but I'm not actively searching for that anymore.

95 Cruiser, 35" AT's, factory lockers, $4300

Does nearly $4 bucks a gallon have something to do with it?

Yea, that and I'm really in need of a pick-up. Hard to load cow manure into the back of the 80.

CL FJ40 bugcatcher doors in CT. Not mine, contact the seller in the CL ad, his name is John.

They are pre-65, not all rotted, left one is missing a piece of the vent window hardware. the "extension" pieces are the b and c pillars (with windows) cut out of a 68 or so hard top. He picked them up at a swap meet.

I have an interest, but why don't people post a price? It has been proven that ads without prices gain less interest than those that do.

I'm looking for a clean, rust free Samurai. If stock, it must be very cheap. If modified, it has to be street worthy for NH. I don't need a title, just a bill of sale, but it can't be questionable history wise.

Still has some good parts on those doors...

I've got an 82 HJ47 Troopy body I'm thinking about selling. It's missing the front fenders and the side doors. Sitting on new steelies and BFG 33x9.5 15s. I bought it from jsaltlick a couple of years ago. The fiberglass top is damaged but repairable. I can post photos if someone is interested.

Frame is in good shape.

Emailed the guy and asked what he wants for them and the only response was "make me an offer". I don't want to insult the guy, but I don't want to offer $xxx if he'll take $xx. The seller should set the price and leave it up to the buyer to negotiate from there.
