How bigs the hole??

about 1.5" slice. through sidewall

Oh no are these the tires you just bought from Josh?
Yes, I knew the spare had the damage. Just figured I could get a tube and be done with it.

Send it to a heavy tire shop and have them Vulcan ize it I use Sullivan tire for it...via IH8MUD app

I did read about this procedure but didnt find anyone in the area to contact about it. Have they redone your tires with a hole right threw the sidewall before?
I see there is one about 50 min from me. I will give them a call and see if they offer that service. thanks,.

I had a crane tire sent out last fall and I haven't had any problems with it. Someone put a big gouge in the corner part of the tread sidewall on a fairly new tire think it cost about hundred bucks, which was good for me considering tire cost 4k

It was 500 this morning and rust bucket or not that thing would have made you money. I guess the owner figured out it was worth more.

It was $500. The owner wised up.

Well I have called a bunch of tire shops to fix slice in sidewall. Nobody does this on a light truck tire. Tire vulcanizing is only done on large equipment tires. Tube will just get pinched by slice. Foam won't work because they need to inflate with air to set the bead.

So, I am looking to buy one 37 x 12.5 x 17 Tire for a spare. Anyone have one for sale?

There's this guy selling 4 blue labels on Craigslist, come with a spare with a slice in the sidewall, I could give ya his numb.... Wait a minute...

Ha. Prob should delete the spare part on that add now that I have confirmed its junk.

^^^^I will save it for this spring/summer. I was going to toss it this weekend. Hey John, Do you have the name or number of that place? I will call and see if they vulcanize light truck tires. Rather not hang on to a paper weight.

Let me know before you toss it. I have a tree limb and rope all ready to swing
