WANTED fj40

I have a friend who is looking for a clean 40 in NE. (yes, I know.)
Does not want to tinker much on it, just a driver, not a wheeler. Motor unimportant, must be a stick.

He is willing to spend what it is worth.

Anyone have one? A friend of mine and I just sold this one a few weeks ago. If I had known.

40 Yard Sale

67 Windshield Frame, no rot, buggered hinges, good glass (small cloudy streak), gasket needs to be replaced. $150

2-Tranny Humps, late 60's early 70's, little rust, fairly cut up. $50 each

Bib, buggered bezel, little rot on bottom edge. $50

Got some tires for sale, 31" BFG ATs, on some rare Toyota rims. I really love these and don't want to part with them, but these came off a 94 4Runner that takes 15" rims, and my 97 takes 16" rims, so I can't use them. I have an ad on Craigslist, here's a link:
(4) 31" BF Goodrich AT tires on rare 15" Toyota 4Runner rims. Asking 250 bucks for tires, rims and all plus a spare, or best offer. If you have a first or second generation 4Runner, epescially as a daily driver, these will look very cool.

Have a set off of my 74, same thing? I don't know.
They are pretty beefy, in good shape. Make an offer.
 
M416 for sale. If I recall mine is a 1967 Johnson version. It is currently registered in Vermont.

Looks like every other stock M416, except it is solid green. Exterior paint is flaking in several places. The bed has surface rust, but no holes. It really could use a coat of paint, or be blasted and repainted.

There are two caveats. The lunette ring was removed by the prior owner, and replaced with a ball hitch. Second, this M416 was originally a water tank. The lid was welded to the outer lip of the trailer. I removed this lid and the spigot on the tailgate. There are some sharp edges on the outer lip, but I have never paid them that much attention. I'll post up pictures shortly.

$650; I can bring it with me to the Fall Gathering if payment is firmed up ahead of time. I am not in a rush to sell the trailer and therefore firm on the price....just selling one of several things for a project. I plan on posting this to the main board in a week or so...just wanted local folks to have first crack.

$700, or I will consider trades for an ARB-friendly winch or rear recovery bumper with tire swing out.

Located in southern VT!

I'm very interested as I just bought a M-101 trailer. Nothing to trade unfortunately but will watch your add for when the funds are available.
 
I have an H55 transmission and trasfer case that i bought last year and just don't see when I will get it into my truck. the 4spd I have in there right now is running fine and to tell you the truth I am not sure I would want to go much over 55 in the lv. i need bill money more than I need a 5 spd I think. this is just a feeler to see if there is any interest. I do not want to ship this and would prefer a local pick up. and I don't think my rear springs could handle transporting it anywhere either. . I am thinking $1500 for transmission and transfer case. in as is condition. it came over on the in the container John C. put together last year.

hey guys im selling my Yakima rack that was on my 4runner for a year and on my 80 for half a year, it comes with two load bars and 4 towers that lock onto rain gutters also has wired lights and has a place to mount your high lift asking $350
pick up only please, i can bring it to fall gathering tho
