Thanks, Jason! It's going to be a bit... Thing is super slow, I might be in the market for an H55 + 3.73's. It will have to be trailered over a long distance; unlike the 40, which has proven itself on 100+ mile trips. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to having it present at HAMOM's here in the Low Country.

what drivetrain does the 40 have in it? Should be a 4 speed and 4.10 gears as well, correct? I would think they would be similar in acceleration and speed.

Might be something wrong with it , mine could keep up, or pass the typical 40 .

Thank you, sir! Yep, I'm at 4 now. 3 currently in the shop, so no wheeling until 1 comes back. 40 is supposed to be back in time for The Relic Run, but that's now questionable since we discovered a hack job under the fender flares... Also had to order a new rear sill since the current one couldn't be repaired to the body guy's content. Thanks for the compliment!

The 40 has a 4 speed with 3.73's - they came stock after 1979 I believe? It also has a 2F gas engine with an upgraded intake, exhaust, and carburetor. The 45 has an H diesel engine with a grannie gear 4 speed and what I assume are 4.10's... Man it's slow.

Welcome! Nice 62! Our cruisers could be twins, same color, factory wheels and I even have the exact Warn shackle in the hitch as well. You've got great taste my friend!
