I emailed him. The pics looks like it has some bubble rust that has been painted. He also said he was firm at $1600.
Since it includes the RTT and Thule rack system, that seems like a steal.

Sold! :bounce2::bounce:

Since the burb is getting sold, I'm getting rid of the ABC parts I had bought to raise the HP on the tbi. I was going to wait till I had the 700r4 done to handle the new power so I never installed them.

I've had these for sale for a bit locally but keep having the famous CL cancels all the time which is getting annoying since I have to.drive 40 miles to get to where I'm keeping the parts. I have a young kid who is supposed to meeet me on Wednesday before i fly out but he may flake. So anyway putting them up for sale on here and we can work out shipping.

L31 vortec heads... slightly ported and had the rockers pinned, .050 machined off of the valves, cm motorsports springs.
All roller gear needed for a roller tbi conversion.
Edlebrock performer carb to vortec manifold.
Tbi adapter for manifold.
Headers..... not sure of brand can't find any markings came with heads
Comp cams roller 8-304-8
A.C. delco pump cant remember model off the top of my head.
All parts are used except the cam and fuel pump which are brand new. The heads have been freshened up though.

For ONSC members I'll just do exactly what I paid which was $968 at the large 4x4 swap meet they do here twice a year. Locally I'm selling for quite a bit more.
If anyone is interested let me know. They will be open for sale after Wednesday if this kid passes or bails.

These are part of the same set up we ran on a friend's v3500 crew cab back in the early 2000s. Which this set up, a nice exhaust, bored out TB, tuned chip we hit 294hp and 360tq at the rear wheels.
He later did a 383 build up which pushed it up quote a bit more.

That was the plan for my suburban but plans change.

I just want to see the hot, rich lady that drives it

"Every-time this vehicle is driven People in the street Just get excited to see it - a Definite Head-Turner Eye-Catcher and attention hogger"

Uh, no....they are looking at your um.....'roll bars'

I wonder where the "secret" compartment is?

Transfer Case for sale (from my '79 40) - rebuilt with new 3-speed transfer case gearing a few years ago (with lower 2.31 ratio vs, 1.96). Has George's T-Case & nose cone savers installed. Ref Cirbo build thread below. These cases were built at the same time, low miles & quiet. I replaced this T-case with an Orion case recently. $400 Can bring to Relic Run. Thanks, Gabe

Anybody in Greensboro area familiar with this 100 series or be able to check it out for me? In the market for one for daughter to take to college next fall. With the '62 down we need to pull the trigger on something sooner than later. It's fun driving the 40 to work when there's no rain in the forecast....

1998 Toyota Land Cruiser

Also considering this but the 1,000 mile drive home is not a plus!

For Sale - 2001 LC100 in Kansas

FWIW the 98 has been listed for about 3-4 months. Makes me think it may have some issues. Could also be a deal, who knows. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Anyone got a good condition rear brake backing plate LH or set for an FJ60?

Mines scraping the drum like crazy on account of some 'mechanic's' overzealous drum removal.

FJ40, FJ60, FJ62, FZJ80 Backing Plates----NOS

Did you see these on CL? I'm not sure what they usually go for or what you're looking to spend but I found these during my regular trolling.

Thanks! That's pretty much retail price for new ones. I went with used ones - @mel lowe (landcruiserjunktion) is the man when it comes to good quality, good price, freshly pulled used parts. I've gotten a ton of bits and pieces from him for the 60.

Don't forget to have a talk with your "mechanic"

John Davis reached out to me via the website to sell some parts he has. Please reach out to him directly via his cell, (919) 369-4528, if you are interested (not me).

From John:

My two main interests are 1) to find these parts a good home where they will get used and 2) to get them ALL out of my space

I would like to sell the whole lot for $350.

Engine block with crankshaft, cylinders (2 removed) oil pump, oil pan, cylinder head and valve cover, water pump and fan.
Clutch housing, flywheel
Front and rear differential
Front drum brakes
Front grille and two fenders (fenders are pretty rusted)
Steering column and steering wheel

If someone grabs it, I'd be interested in the steering wheel.

If the fenders are in good shape, I'll go in on the purchase for them, the bib, bezel, headlight buckets, etc.

EDIT: Re-read the post. Sounds like the fenders are pretty rusted. I'd still be interested in the bib, bezel, etc. in the event the buyer wanted to recoup part of their cost.
