Disc breaks. What caused the break?

Toyota steering column and wheel. Very rare!

Looked like a bowtie wheel but makes little difference

Hi guys!
Going to test drive this thing tomorrow at noon.
The guy said it's been in their inventory for a long time and they want it gone.
Besides the F engine, diamond plating, etc..what else should I look at.
The guy said it drives "kinda weird" I guess meaning slow.....
Any info that the group can pass along will be greatly appreciated!!!

What are you test driving

I know it's a jeep! But it still looks cool. I've never seen one before.
I am not so sure about that one ... looks more like an old CJ-6 with some custom body work to create "rear doors" ...

I had to go to FAT for some parts and saw the green FJ40 was around back with a sold sticker on it :)

I bet they were getting so much interest (tire kickers) they put it in the back for you! You might want to call first, though.

internal sales communication seems pretty weak.

I bet they know it's sold but are just getting you to come so they can try and sell you something else.

They did that to me, and I flipped out in the used car office - which I can say I have done ONCE in my life now.

I was really in a time crunch, drove 45 minutes to look at this Tacoma. I called ahead and said, "you are sure you got it, right?" They said "yes." I got there and they made me wait 45 mins, only to tell me they didn't have it.

Instead of saying "sorry" - - the used sales manager came over and said "we haven't had that for a couple days, you should call ahead next time. why do you need a truck? we have some cars you should be looking at because unless you really need a truck you shouldn't buy one."

I saw red and yelled at him and later regretted it :) a little bit.

Since the burb is getting sold, I'm getting rid of the ABC parts I had bought to raise the HP on the tbi. I was going to wait till I had the 700r4 done to handle the new power so I never installed them.

I've had these for sale for a bit locally but keep having the famous CL cancels all the time which is getting annoying since I have to.drive 40 miles to get to where I'm keeping the parts. I have a young kid who is supposed to meeet me on Wednesday before i fly out but he may flake. So anyway putting them up for sale on here and we can work out shipping.

L31 vortec heads... slightly ported and had the rockers pinned, .050 machined off of the valves, cm motorsports springs.
All roller gear needed for a roller tbi conversion.
Edlebrock performer carb to vortec manifold.
Tbi adapter for manifold.
Headers..... not sure of brand can't find any markings came with heads
Comp cams roller 8-304-8
A.C. delco pump cant remember model off the top of my head.
All parts are used except the cam and fuel pump which are brand new. The heads have been freshened up though.

For ONSC members I'll just do exactly what I paid which was $968 at the large 4x4 swap meet they do here twice a year. Locally I'm selling for quite a bit more.
If anyone is interested let me know. They will be open for sale after Wednesday if this kid passes or bails.

These are part of the same set up we ran on a friend's v3500 crew cab back in the early 2000s. Which this set up, a nice exhaust, bored out TB, tuned chip we hit 294hp and 360tq at the rear wheels.
He later did a 383 build up which pushed it up quote a bit more.

That was the plan for my suburban but plans change.
