Got word that there is an '87 cruiser at Joe Foss Recycling in Havelock. Supposedly it was running and only had a dead alternator. If any of the Eastern members are over that way, check it out

Does anybody have any early (11/71) 55 parts laying around? I am finally getting around to working on the 55 and I know the parts are few and far between, but figured I would ask.

Parts that are my biggest concern as of now: PS or DS doors and DS or PS fender. But if you have any parts laying around, let me know as I could really use anything at this point. I would be willing to drive and meet you if need be.

I will try and get some better pictures of the 55 I posted about in April. If the grass isn't to tall and the snakes are at bay. I don't think it had doors but I'll shoot some pictures. I'll be in Statesville on Monday.

WTB Front Panhard/Lateral Rod FZJ80

anyone have a front panhard for a FZJ80 for sale? I have a binding pop in the front any time I go over an obstacle and i'm turned to the left and was looking to try this 1st.

Having the same problem, try spraying the spring perch with wd40 first.

I have it but whatever you buy you arebetter of changing the bushings.

Mine is the spring moving on the perch just a little that causes a loud pop when flexed a little. Sprayed it and it went away.

Sorry for the hijack but I was picking Robbie's brain at rubithon about my popping. I told him I've had it for years but just keep going. He said spray your spring (axle side). I did and never heard a pop the entire second day of wheeling.
