Since seeing a photo of a restored FJ45LV (wagon) a few years ago, I've had the yearning to own one. I have visions of hauling the family and our gear around for camping trips and running errands with room for things that won't fit in the 40.

As many of you know, the FJ45LV is somewhat rare (even moreso on the East coast) and some people have been known to hoard them. I'd ask that if any of you happen to come across one and aren't interested in it for yourself, to please let me know.

Given my lack of "skills" I'm looking for one in good mechanical condition that doesn't have more than the typical amount of rust many of us have grown accustomed to. Perhaps an older "restoration" or one with "patina". Budget is in flux but I will most likely sell my 40 to recoup the cost of one, if/when I ever find the LV I want.

FYI - I've already talked with ClemsonCruiser (aka JP) and hope to go see his dad's 45LVs (which aren't for sale) in the coming weeks.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

David

I've seen JP's dads and they do indeed need lots of work to be a family hauler. Your best bet would be to find one out west and ship it over here.

4 in Bulldog LED lights

********SOLD********

Well guys I hate to do this but I think I am going to part ways with the Bulldog LED's I won. I really like these more than I thought I would but I have another pressing project that needs funding. They have never been installed and are still in the box. Most places I've priced these retail at $175-200. I'd like to see $275 for the pair. Please let me know if interested and we'll hammer out the details, shipping, delivery, etc. Will put them up on the main board if no interest but I wanted to offer them up to you guys first. Thanks fellers. :hillbilly:

I know, cause that Pane would be nice on mine.

But he has already said no to parting it out.

You guys want to split it, I'm absolutely fine with that. We can chat.

I pay $300 Darin u cover rest?

Ramon u take payment in bullets? Im bullet rich cash poor haha

I know this is probably a long shot but I'm looking for a rear bumper w/ tire carrier for my 80. The right way to do it is obviously get something awesome from Slee but I can't afford that. Shipping would probably be equally insane. I thought about something like the hitch gate carrier but it looks lame (and rattly). Anyone have anything used they're willing to part with? I'm not too picky about bumper style but the carrier would have to accomodate a 33" tire as I think there's an OME lift and tire upgrade coming in the near future.

Why not go with a 4x4labs one ?

Bunch of them in the club now with them. Wife loves hers.

Or get Stan to fab one up for you.

That's still outside my price range... :o

With the single spindle and tire carrier it's $1600 welded and finished. And that's before shipping. I don't think I've met Stan but if he can fab one up that comes in under a Grand and I don't have to spend a lot on shipping then we'd be in business.

Search is my friend... dropped a note to Stan. Thanks for the reco!

In the meantime, anyone looking to get rid of a good rear bumper / tire carrier setup for an unbelievable price, shoot me a PM!

How much you looking to spend?

You can always go IPOR, get the bumper first for about $800 and add the swing out later.

Or Luke's bumper with a single swing out and tire carrier is $1025-ish un assembled, weld it up yourself or see about getting a club member to help weld;)

If there was more time in the day i could fab one up for less, but i got entirely too much on my plate before this. Sorry.

Glasstite fiberglass tonneau cover for '99-'07 Chevy/GMC short bed (6.5') truck for sale. It came on my '04 Duramax, but I have no need for it. Cover is in great condition, all hardware included. Previous owner had the cover sprayed with Line-X for durability - it looks really good. $450 obo.
