Installed a Pinsu rack and took the LX on a trail west (400+ avenue) of Phoenix called Saddle Mountain loop. Car did great and the rocky trail tested every rack bolt for tightness (1 spot shook loose and was loud AF, tightened it up and was g2g).

Man, that’s a good looking truck.

Seriously jealous of all the silver and white trucks on here. Black is what I could afford so it’s what I have.
Snow wheelin in southern Washington. I think I broke my steering pump around here. 😢

Here are a few photos of my rig with the body lift on. Tapered 1 3/4" front to 1 1/4" at the back...

Did I miss a writeup for your body lift install? Can you put up a summary on your build or as a new thread?

You didn't miss anything. It may be little while though 😬. I want to start a thread when I get a little more progress made and maybe the new tires mounted. In the meantime anyone is welcome to message me if they have specific questions and are trying to dive in on their own before I can start a new thread.

I can toss more confusion and request for answers with this photo too 🤪

I figured the best way to make 37's fit was to put on a 40 and trim for that. Then the 37" should be certain to fit 🤓 but don't anyone get their hopes up that I'm actually going to run 40's anytime soon (w/o some sort of sponsorship program 😉)

And it turns into a tire thread...

Of the best kind. :bounce:

Looks great!
What kind of bracket / mounting mods to the steps did this require?

steps don't need modifications at all. They are attached to the body, but the front and rear bumper need some work. Easy work in my opinion but a little attention. To quickly explain... the front bumper could have the styrofoam easily cut along the bottom for probably up to about a 1" BL. I tried trimming and got tired of cutting a little and putting the bumper back on, then removing and cutting a little more, so I just removed the styrofoam altogether for now. I may have the patience to return to this process but I may not.

The rear bumper was somewhat easy as well, with a small bracket that bolts to the rear most crossmember. Mine was rather rusty anyways, so that was removed altogether also. I am determining how to reattach the bottom of the tupperware bumper or maybe just trim it up above the bottom edge of that crossmember like Flightmedic did.

Did that much body lift cause any issues with radiator, trans shifter, hvac, or any other wiring that could get stretched? Or is the amount you did potentially the most you could do without other major changes?

I’ll start a different thread to discuss these things later but yes a few other things need addressed.
