I’m no where near the frame, I’m going wheeling tomorrow so we shall see…

I have found 25-28+ to be the offset that typically needs the least amount of work.

Other people seem to make others work too
I am about to pick up the LX tomorrow from having the actuator and rear brakes done. Heading straight to a trail, albeit a rather easy shakedown trail, but first time in 4Lo with the 37s and mods.

Will flex it up a bit more and try to see how much space I need from the frame. If it looks like what I expect from what you’ve said and I guesstimate from driving it, I am going to pull the trigger on some Icon Recon Pros with the 25 offset. Really appreciate your help in understanding clear lance with the 25 offset.

If you’re still hitting the DS fender and don’t want to cut them, maybe look into adjustable uppers or adjusting camber if you already have them? I have them and was thinking that may get me a bit more clearance if I need.

The beast got to stretch her legs a bit today for the first time, exploring rural Texas. Even before she gets her new shoes, she looks and runs great. Kids had a blast too. Love this thing and can’t wait to let her eat mountain terrain.

I just got under the LX after light wheeling yesterday, where it was flexed decently a few times and a few full lock with compression situations.

You can see where the tire contacted the frame in the first picture. While stationary at full lock, it doesn’t come too too close to the frame. I am on 35offset wheels, and just want to be sure 25 offset will be enough to clear. As others like @Killacaviar do.

In the second picture it looks like it is just the outer corner of the innermost tread block Maybe it is the alignment too as I have the SPC UCAs?

Seems to miss the body mount unless going downhill and fully stuffed, where it barely kisses the BM. I am going to do the more aggressive BMC as advised by @MTKID so not concerned about that.

Any suggestions or feedback is much appreciated.

Surprised you rub there and not the sway bar. My 35x12.50s on 25mm rub sway bar quite a bit but not enough to worry about.

Clearances are super tight.

I'm at +28mm and don't have issues with contact of the frame. It is close enough that I've had to reshape the plastic engine shield though. Sway bar too.

I have always just checked BMC and I saw the frame once and just stayed focused there. Never bothered to look at the sway bar until your comment. And I definitely do run on the sway bar. Not too bad with the sway bar I take it?

Glad to hear you all are good on the frame at 28/25 offset.

How bad is your rubbing on the sway bar?

I wonder if I push the wheels forward I can avoid the sway bar some.

Yes I know there is a 200 series picture thread, and naturally this covers both the Land Cruiser and the LX 200 series cruisers.. I thought it would be cool if we started a LX picture thread since most of the pics on the 200 series pic thread are of the LC.. I am having a hard time finding pics of LXs, for every 10 pics 1 is an LX...So come on fellow LX owners, post up stock/modded/wheeling/mall cruising/ urban wheeling pics, ha.. We all know the LX is the pinnacle of the 200 series, so let's show the LC owners what there missing :flipoff2:...
