Very nice!

quick question would the 200 Series Arb Bull Bar bolt on too lets say a LX570????

I don't see why not. They have the same front end except for the fog lights which get cut away anyways.

But I would contact ARB first.

My father has a 570 and I can attest that they are NOT the same cut lines etc. Plus you will lose front camera that is up there.

Plus it will look real OOgly

Thank you DTT255 for responding and posting the procedure on how to install the ARB bumper. After much assessment, I decided to mount a pair of IPF HID 900xs HID lights on a product called light wing-made by CARR Inc. I studied your picture and the angnst you had to go through + weighted them against my actual use and I decided not to go through with the installation.

My passion is skiing and I have used every free moment that I have to indulge myself + family in this sport with the help of my LC and every previous LC that I have owned to help get me there. In constrast to all the good people on this board, I must admit that I do not engage in hard core mud/rock/boulder climbing with the LC. Moreover, I tend to trade in my LC as soon as the next model is available based on my history so far.

In closing, I enjoy readin IH8MUD and I also like the look of your ARB LC. I must say that you are one of the few post that I do actually read whenever I get a chance. Good luck and I will post picture of my LC whenever webmaster allows me more memmory.

Good to know. Thanks for the clarification. My bad.

Good thing you asked huh?

NP....would suck if you tried it before asking :)

LX570 front camera is in the grille btw, not the bumper, you wouldnt LOSE it, just wouldnt be able to USE it.

I stand corrected!

I think if the bumper was trimmed properly, you could fit the ARB on an LX. At least it would make it look halfway decent then.

Thats assuming the grille doesnt come down lower on the LX over the LC.

Its so you can see whats coming if you're trying to pull out of some blind spot or something? There are ones on the mirrors too looking down on the sides

kind of silly, but you can just use the mirror cameras for when you're wheeling.

I think its also part of the cruise control system, similar to the new Sequoia. The camera senses when you are getting too close to the car ahead of you (while on cruise control), and either alerts you or slows down the truck (or both?).

I really wish people would just learn to drive or take the damn bus instead!

From my experience with the weight(95 kg) of the ARB bar will drop the front end of the 200 approx 15mm on installation on relatively new Toyota springs. After a few months the constant weight of the bar will cause the front to drop a further 10mm. Making the upgrading of the front suspension a requirement in my opinion.

That was the reasoning I told my wife , anyhow. :grinpimp:

The bar sure does look kick ass though. ;)

dtt255, you ever get those lights installed in the bumper?

Do you mean the little nitty fog lights in the bumper? Yeah got them installed. Easy as pie.

I will take some pics after the weekend.

Any more pictures?

Can I suggest standing far back from the car and using zoom - will reduce the fish-eye effect of the camera.

Couldn't hold off anymore and it is the rig's anniversary coming up so... I decided to pull the trigger, and ordered up an ARB bumper for the front.

That's it, just had to share.

Are you getting a winch as well? Good choice of frontal protection, as well as aiding frontal clearence issues.:grinpimp:

No Winch yet...I have tons to learn about them. Not sure I know enough to make that kind of purchase at this time. Also, I am concerned about the weight that puts on the front. Any comments from those with winch and ARB bumper as far as driving characteristics and fuel economy, would be appreciated.

Now its just the waiting game...I hate this part.
