the rear license plate holder is in a bad spot IMO :)

The parts books shows a license plate bracket that hung down like that but mounted to the left rear corner. The one that was used in the US mounted in the same corner but when above the light not below. Not shown in the parts book but I'm sure Toyota imported it. The light is made by Koito.
 
looks like there was a few carry overs from the BJ jeep.....it is the craddle style tire holder and also an early toyota jerry can carrier.

now we know the deal with that cruiser...but look at the mirror arm....wow thats long :)

The 45 lpb mirror arms are that long too. ;)
