Run PMc and I both had a kitchen pass and new toys we wanted to try out this Friday night.

We arrived at my Back Lake at about 6:30, started the coals and hung the Eno's

Eno's are simple but the bug nets had us both scratching our heads. We both did it wrong but we figured it out this am. Luckily bugs were no problem. I also bought my yard fogger and hosed the area good.

The Foxwing wasn't needed but being a new toy I had to show it off.

Poles and all it took 6 minutes to set up

Once the coals got hot I turned the grill over to @pmccraney and I played with the Dutch oven

Patrick did a fine job. Tater tots in the foil

Forgot plates. Ate butcher shop style

The dessert was superb. I cooked it a bit too hot but the center was amazing

We punished some 4 Roses after Will turned in early.

I woke up at sunrise and then was able to sleep to 8 am. Great sleep.

We roasted some Shipley donuts for breakfast and packed it all up.

After packup we did an hour trail ride around the farm. It's super dry but was a nice tour

They had a fox hunt going on.

@wngrog thanks for having me out! Really needed that after a long week. Whiskey, steaks, campfire, Dutch oven goodness, hammock snooze,some trail ride are all good for the soul. Great way to start the weekend before settling in for football.

I don't have much to add, but Nolen's foxwing is really cool and stupid easy/fast to set up.

No camping but did a couple short 1/2 day trips during SCC.

Friday a group of us went to a spot Nolen recommended called Blue Hole about an hour north and west of Hot Springs. Was worth the trip for sure.

Saturday Ryan and I made a quick run North with the main goal being to find a cool spot to chill out and listen to the LSU game. Found it.

No idea. Just drove till we found a good spot.

Yeah it was up 7, just short of Hollis

This is the best camping spot I've been to east of Texas

Little Missouri Falls is spectacular, just a little west of you. Could the 200 make it through the trail up to the top.
