I'm coming down on October 4th for the RHCP concert at New Orleans arena. I was wondering where you guys thought would be the best place to stay and park. Oct. 4th is a Thursday if that helps

RHCP = Red Hot Chili Peppers (I think).
dockbox's hood is the Warehouse District. That's Tchoupitoulas (easy for me to spell
) and Annunciation Street areas between Poydras and Julia Streets. Lots of hotels there, easy to Quarter and music venues, and lots of night life in Warehouse District. That's a real good choice actually. And it's safe, as NO goes. Of course, NO makes Baghdad look good.
