OEM Snorkel

I have an OEM snorkel on its way to me and was curious if anyone locally has installed one yet. It seems pretty straight forward measure twice and cut once. Also looks like most change out the rivets to skinnier ones to work with the cheaper HF rivet guns.

What kind did you get? OEM or Safari? I believe you have to relocate the antenna with the OEM. Love the cyclonic topper that Dave had on his truck.

I got the OEM Toyota snorkel with the BIG 80 topper.

Yeah I will have to relocate the antenna but mine is already bent so I have ordered a rubber replacement and may just keep it on the same side and just drill a new hole for the rubber antenna.

Is that rectangle adaptor connect to air box in engine bay? I've seen the round hole style on these Chinese specials along with the Sherpa brand on Amazon also. Prices are from $100 to $400/$500. Thx.

Yes, this is the OEM Toyota snorkel from Australia and Japan. And it is shaped like that due to the firewall bumping out toward the fender at this location.

Ok, thanks. I guess the OEM has shorter outer runner on fender than imitation which makes it looks more clean. Now to find one. Thanks.
