OEM second battery tray part number (for 96/97 LX/LC)

i'm googling here and would like to pick one of these up for a future project. anyone have the part number for the OEM right side battery tray that will fit in the 96/97?

not sure if it is in this thread but i have it printed out and will take a look through tomorrow if no one has it.

yeah. that sounds right. i’m just still a little bit of a dope with the toyota fiche. not totally confident i can navigate it. are the 91-92’s all 3fe or do i need to make sure i find the fiche for a 3fe? dumb question i know but right now i can pretty much manage just the 97 LX on the fiche unfortunately...

Do you know the OEM part numbers for the bolts holding the 74403-60100 battery box (one from bottom and two from the side? I can not find them.

• 1 x 7440360100 Carrier Sub-Assy (the tray)
• 4 x 9017906223 Nut - Battery Clamp (hold the battery securing bar)
• 2 x 7445160040 Bolt, Battery Carrier (J bolts, 2 of the above nuts per bolt)
• 1 x 7445360060 Battery Securing Bar
• 5 x 91652G0820 Bolt HZJ80 (Metric bolts to secure the tray to the fender).

I had to trim the battery box to fit with the later model fan shroud. You will also need to relocate your windshield washer reservoir.

No, no, in my rig, the windshield washer reservoir is on the opposite side (driver's side), so I simply need to replace the old, damaged battery box with the new one.

Mine was also damaged. You can just buy some bondo (fibreglass repair) and repair it yourself. The OEM battery tray happily plays well with bondo. Easy to repair and a touch of black spray paint if you want it to be 'stock'. I filled several holes and repaired cracks etc - good as new for a few dollars.

Mine was cracked much worse than yours and it all repaired up nicely. Used some fiberglass matting to give strength/structure.

Clever idea! I already ordered the brand new box, but I will not throw away the old one, and maybe one day I will repair it following your advice. The thing is that I try gradually to replace all damaged parts with the OEM ones.
