Anyone know why these are stamped on the block? 2F

Would have been way cooler if it were 666, I’ll probably do that before I put it back together
 
I’ve got this on the rail…. It’s a 2F taken out of a 1985 FJ-60….

I know on my 89 FJ62 there on numbers or letter stamped on the bottom of the block. Those tell you which bearings were used when the block was assembled. This is covered in the FSM. Been a long time since I replaced the rod bearing. My 68 FJ40 had a knock when I bought it in 74. Turned out it was a rod bearing. Just to be safe I checked them in my 89. This was probably in the early nineties. so it been a long time and this is years newer engine than any of my FJ40s.
