I will (hopefully) getting my 55 registered in the next 2 weeks. I was thinking of getting some custom number plates. I have HJ0060 on my 60, but they have done away with the 2 letter, 4 number combination. Now it is 3 letter, 3 numbers. I have shortlisted some plate options. Need your opinions;

FJO055 - not available as they won't let me have an 'O' next to a zero (no idea why?)
TOY055
TYT055
PIG055 - not sure if they would let me have this, plus may attract unwanted attention from the cops!

Thats all I can come up with. Any other suggestions?

'MyColour' Plates are $295 with three letters and three numbers. 'Prestige' plates are $1095 for any 6 letters or numbers. I'm a tight wad!

:rolleyes:Guess that is the difference between a fiance and a wife...my wife already knows that tlc means both The Land Cruiser and Tender Loving Care...and she is ok with it because it keeps me out of her way.;) And well, it's not like I have ferrari and am making the scene :lol:


Anyway, how bout that TEQ055 like all your 55 parts are stamped?---that's a little insider thing for Toyota guys.
 
Here's mine and the funny thing is when I wanted to change to IHA8MUD, someone already had IH8MUD I was turned down. They said mud referred to people of color, and it wasn't until I send a letter to the women who run the special tags section, gave her this web site and a picture of my truck, she agreed and approved the tag but I've gone back to 74FE-PIG.
I've had lots of comments on the tag, all good.

Dragging this one up from the dead, but just got the 55 approved for Rego. I think this is now my number one choice;

1095 thats cheap down there, up here the prestige plate are over $2500 i want to tget FEP16 that is $495
