My pedal had to be spaced out of I remember right (been 13 years). The Weber/pedal install was done when my motor was rebuilt. What is the problem with yours?

My main problem is that there is no how-to or instructions out there anywhere (that I can find) for reference.

Short of that, I can't get spacing, allignment, etc, to work right. Just feels like it's not ever going to work.

PM me a cell phone number and I will try to remember to get you some pics of mine.

Bodean's is first pic.

My mocked up stock pedal is second.

That is a different pedal. I thought you bought a pedal?

Yeah that's the stock pedal...thought MEMCruiser was wanting to see the difference betweent the OEM and Weber setup.

Yes, i have the weber pedal and cable, just haven't installed yet. On the list for the weekend.

Today at the shop was one step forward and two steps back.

Got the fuel and emissions systems all plumbed up...but I'm getting no gas at the carb. Will have to work my way back next weekend. I'm suspecting that when I sealed it the supply line got clogged.

Also found that I have wiring issues. No lights anywhere, truck will crank with key but not shut off. Ugh.

On another note still amazed at how complete the truck is. All of the under seat jack mounts and tool bag holders were there. Got them cleaned up, painted and mounted today. Also sand blasted and painted the jack.

Heck it ought to be complete. It sat at a guys house on hwy 25 for at least 20 years. Deer camp truck for years.

It def is. So far no missing parts.

Also spent hours and hours Friday night reading up on the weber carb. Actually got it to work with the stock pedal and linkage today. Just need a $16 part from MAF to get it lined up perfect.

So I stopped by the shop a minute ago to look in and found this waiting on me.

Gas tank that I re-sealed and had left sitting in the shop full of gas (out of the truck) decided to start leaking.

Bag of cat litter later I'm looking at this. Which I ain't gonna lie, hurts my feelings.

My fault tho. I didn't make sure the drain hole was re-drilled after that area was patched.

Just buy a new tank from Cruiser Corps or CCOT. A metal tank.

yeah, $250 more...putting me in the poorhouse.

Ouch. I bet that did hurt :frown:

Yes. yes it did.

I guess I can just sand it, prime it, and paint it a close color match (or black) under the tank huh? Would that be a bad idea? Really don't want to take it back into the paint shop.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that when it will be covered up by a gas tank.
