Of course!

Just looked it up. He was 6'7" tall, making his reach about ~10'. It's not uncommon for a NBA player's vertical to be 36" or more, so it's possible!

You may be overstating his reach.

I'm 6'7 and can reach to about 109" standing flat footed..... that's 11" shy of 120" needed for 10ft

My reach is around 82" which is in line with my height.

Not saying Rodman couldn't hit a 13 foot target as athletic as he was though.

here's some upgrade pics.
Al, I fabbed up a bracket from hardware pieces and used a couple grade 8 bolts to hold it all together. Welded one tab to the frame and clamped the other tab to the steering. A lot more simple than other kits make it seem.

Hard to tell from the pics..... you say it double stabilizer kit...... is there another stabilizer shock side by side with that one?

Awesome T-case brake.... what kit did you use there??

Mike, great pics. I highly recommend some chafe protection on those cooler lines where they go through the frame. You'd be amazed how fast a transmission will pump all it's fluid out when one gets a hole in it ..... Don't ask me how I know this ...

Yes two stabilizers side by side. Look really close to the frame mounted side and you can see both piston shafts. I used a single mounting tab on both ends with grade 8 bolts drawing it together. Every other kit I saw online was over complicated and tied the stabilizers to the axle and right in the damage zone. Mine is close to the stock configuration and works great. I would recommend stabilizers on any rig from this point on. They don't restrict anything and makes the steering feel 100% safer.

It's a TSM Mfg e-brake kit. I've got to tweek one more thing with the cable but it works great. I used the stock cable and shortened it.

Definitely putting heater hose around those tranny lines.

The pump is so much better on the trail. It has that little bit of added power to keep my line. The stabilizers also help keep the rocks from fighting back which lessens the strain on the pump.

Mike did you fab a bracket to run the new PS pump?

I have been thinking of putting the PS pump off of my diesel suburban on my rig for added power and also to get rid of the brake booster and add Hydroboost to them.

For the pump I used the stock bracket. I cut the back portion out to allow room for the saginaw. Since the saginaw only mounts using one side I used studs and hex bolts to align the depth and hold it tight. I then took one bolt out of the bottom of the adjustment bracket to allow enough movement to line up with another hole in the saginaw and tightened everything down. The high pressure line was the same thread as stock. With a little tweaking, cutting the end of one stud, and a shorter belt I got it in place and it works great.

Here are some extra stabilizer pics for you. Simple

Took a nice ride in Burt yesterday on the trail system and i tell you what. That truck is dialed in. Johnny you really should take a ride out there in it. Very capable rig now. I have never been a big fan of an auto in a wheeler but it does work for him.

Thanks for letting me check out those mods last night Mike..... they look awesome and from what you were saying they perform awesome also. :)

I've got to get on the double stabilizer mod sometime soon.

Thanks fellers. I went up Daniel today with Kenny and got in a good dose of challenge. Burt made it look easy when I got her on the right line. That first ledge is a bit of a doosey now and I probably wouldn't have crawled up if I even had an extra pound of air in my tires. Still, above the first ledge, I can't get through without tipping up on three wheels for that pucker factor. She really is performing great and again thanks to everyone helping to get her built.

Sorry I didn't get many pictures but here's one of you playing at the rock garden

Thanks for a great ride Mike. I'm glad you talked me into going and I hope it won't be the last time we get to wheel together.

You will be missed by friend!

I found some old pics of Burt on her first URE run. I had just cut all the rust out and rolled on that beautiful paint job. Also found one that Johnny took in Moab documenting her first phase and I added one of the current configuration. She's come a long way.
