Im closing in on deciding if i want to color match my new rear bumper to my LX450. I like the look of a stock bumper, and this bumper is built to look as close to stock as possible. I thought about powder coat black but the more i think about color matching the truck the more i like the idea.

I DID search, i dont have ninja search skills so i came up empty. Does anyone have pics of color matched rear bumper...?

Some pics of the project. LAME Fab is doing the build. IMO, great work so far.

Brackets turn-t out pretty...

Really like the receiver position

Test fit

Waller some stuff out

Trim here, trim there.... snug as a bug

Whats a cool bumper without 2" flush mount LED's

Very Nice:cheers:

Thank you

Looks great!!! I really like the oem look.

Nice clean and great lines. Look forward to seeing the final product. What LED's are those?

Class 3 hitch. tied into the frame. Want to make sure the camper stays in the rear view mirror.

the best looking rear I have seen yet. If i hadn't just bought an IPOR I'd be begging you to build me one!

Thank you for all the positive feedback... My buddy Austin from LAME Fab is building it for me. He designed and has been putting in a bunch of time on the build.... He is a very skilled fabricator... and a great friend....

Any pics out there of color matched rear bumper? I'm trying to convince the DA...shes leaning black powdercoat. I want to match for the stock appearance.... need pics to help make the case.

Mine were color matched front and rear, here are a few shots. I am refinishing them black, as the clear faded on the gold paint.

Hey man, would you do me a favor and measure the outside portion of that light, you know, the part that is going to be outside of the bumper? Length and width should do it. I hate to ask but I haven't been able to find those dimensions anywhere!!

Many thanks in advance!!

Edit: Nevermind. I went to your link and there they were! So thanks!

Glad you found it. Austin has my lights now and is fitting them in the bumper. He was looking at flush mounting the "flush" mount lights... we want smooth lines... should be another test fit and more pics next Saturday.

We decided against the lights. They are nice but do not "fit" the bumper well... need to find another mounting place. One more test fit next weekend and its off to the paint shop.

Can you post a few more pics of the LX450? I've been looking to do a similar, basic setup. Also is it the ome 2 1/2 inch lift and 285s? Thanks
