Hi all.

I keep the valves adjusted failry regularly on my 92 22re. But they still seem noisy-clicking and such. It is not a gas issue.

So my question, is this normal-that is to have that kind of valve noise?

I have 0 power issues and 0 burning oil (past the usual wear)

Thanks

The Gen2 injectors make a ticking noise also that sounds like a valve noise. That might be somthing your are hearing also.

Yeah, it could be the injectors.

I was cozy with the sewing machine noise on the old 40's but I guess I never really considered the 22re as being the same in terms of noise. But that's cool.

Thanks all.

Good question although I assume that if an injector is dirty it needs to be professionally cleaned not treated with a fuel additive.

Just my thoughts though.

No they don't need to be cleaned thats just the sound they make.I think its because their getting a full 12 volts some body currect me if am wrong.
