Which company did you purchase the koyo radiator from? I’ve having trouble finding anyone that carries koyo, locally.

I bought from Amazon and it arrived damaged and I was in a hurry to go on a trip so I called a local radiator shop and they provided the radiator and did the install and it was a koyo. I didn't ask for a koyo, but that's what they put in. They had it at their shop in an hour and it was $210. Might be worth calling a radiator shop near you. Best price I could find.

Good call. I will do some googling to check some local shops. I was stuck on checking parts stores. Thanks

You're probably right. And even if they used OEM I wouldn't put it past them to not install it correctly. There are some other things the dealership did that make me question if they know what they are doing half the time.

Its not uncommon that the thermostat is not installed in the correct orientation, i.e. the "jiggle valve" is not installed between 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock. Ideally at 12 o'clock. This allows excess air to escape the system.
