Hey everyone, just thought I'd say Hi, recently joined the club with a 72 FJ55. Has the usual rust and the typical rear window that doesn't work! I'm assuming it's the nylon gear piece that needs to be replaced. It's got a SBC 400 with 350 tranny. Front discs and PWR steering. I'm in the process of gutting it and rhinolining it, taking care of the rust and just getting it set up. I'll take pictures when I get home, as I'm at work right now.
My question: What backspacing are you guys running for a more stable ride? I've searched...some run spacers, some have custome backspacing... I've got a 4 inch lift. I'd like to run 35x 12.5x15 if possible but want the tires out a bit for clearance and track. Thanks in advance for the help.
