Noise under vehicle after turning off engine.

Others may know this already, but I didn't and I couldn't find anything on here so I thought I would post an FYI.

Went to my LC this morning and it sounded like the fuel pump was running while the vehicle was off and parked. First time I've ever noticed this. Turns out it's the evap system doing its thing.

I've had that on many different toyota's over the years. Sometimes a new gas cap fixes it. Sometimes it is a loose ventilation line to/from the charcoal canister/evap system. Somtimes the charcoal canister itself needs to be replaced. Sometimes it's one of the canister valves acting up. If it gets bad enough pressure will start building up in the fuel tank.
