It went on for years, up until the bar was sold.

Nothing in the forecast. The Short Creek Snotel site just to the south of Axolotl Lakes is showing 0 inches of snow at 7000 feet. The Lower Twin site in the Tobacco roots has 10 inches at 7900 feet.

I think there's plans to try to do two separate trails. I'd imagine you can probably do the first one and bail. I'm hoping to be home before dark.

I had such a good time I forgot to get my camera out! Hopefully a few pictures were taken while we were trying to get up that icy section. Hopefully some video was taken there too.
